Tiv militias killed two Fulani men at Tsokundi road, slaughtered over 40 cows, and took seven herds of cattle to Benue State.

Mallam Wuryeba Adunga Yerima Aston was killed by Tiv militias in Ason, Wukari LGA, Taraba State, and his body dumped in a well.

A Muslim rampage in the Tudun Wada Dankadai area of Kano State resulted in the deaths of multiple Christians, the destruction of church buildings, and the displacement of hundreds of residents. The violence began in the morning at the Government Secondary School in Tudun Wada, where Muslim high school students claimed that Christian students had drawn a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad on the wall of the school’s mosque. Of the approximately 1,500 students at the high school, only 14 were Christians. Christian students denied the accusation, stating that no one would have dared such an act, especially during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. The attackers then poured into the streets, where they killed Christians, burned churches and other Christian properties. Torched churches reportedly included St. Mary‘s Catholic Church, St. George’s Anglican Church, Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA), Assemblies of God Church, First Baptist Church, a Pentecostal church, the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church, an African independent church (the Cherubim and Seraphim Church), and two other Pentecostal churches (The Chosen Bible Church and Deeper Life Bible Church). Among those murdered were Augustine Odoh and his younger brother Cosmos Odoh, both members of St. Mary‘s Catholic Church. Another Catholic, Joseph Eze, was also killed. The attackers also destroyed many Christian homes and businesses. An estimated 72 people were injured in the violence and 500 people were displaced. The area was initially sealed off by local authorities, who transported Christians out of the area and removed all corpses. Aid workers and pastors who attempted to evacuate victims were denied access or detained.

At approximately 4 am on Sunday, armed militias (described as terrorists or armed men, with unconfirmed reports identifying them as Fulani militiamen) attacked Igama community in Edumoga Ehaje district, Okpokwu Local Government Area, Benue State. The attackers besieged the village, opened fire on residents, and set almost all buildings on fire. At least 11 people were killed, mostly youths, while the elderly and women were reportedly allowed to escape. The attack lasted for about two hours, from 4 am to 6 am.
