The bombers detonated the IEDs strapped to their bodies against the vehicle. Only the bombers died in the explosion, while eight others sustained injuries. A tricycle (Keke-Napep) near the scene was also affected

An explosive device detonated at a beer parlour near the Tundun Wada motor park in Jos, Plateau State. The blast occurred around 8 p.m., hours after a devastating car bombing in Kaduna, and forced residents to cut short their Easter celebrations. The explosion was believed to be from an improvised explosive device (IED). The blast site was located about 300 metres from the headquarters of the military Special Task Force (STF) and barely 200 metres from the Plateau State Governor‘s Lodge. STF spokesman Captain Markus Mdahyelya stated that no one was killed or injured, but eyewitnesses reported that about four people sustained injuries and were taken to Jenvak Hospital. A correspondent who visited the hospital confirmed that only one person was admitted due to trauma, while the others were treated and discharged.
