Unidentified gunmen invaded the residence of Rev. Daniel Umaru of the Ekklesiyan Yanuwa 'a Nigeria (EYN) Evangelical Church of the Brethren Njairi in Mubi LGA, Adamawa State. They shot him and his two sons, who died instantly, and abducted his 13-year-old daughter. His wife, who witnessed the attack, was left in a coma. Rev. Umaru survived but was critically injured and hospitalized.

Boko Haram gunmen attacked a police station in Babban Gida village, Yobe State. In the ensuing shootout, four policemen and five Boko Haram fighters were killed. The attackers attempted to overrun the station but were repelled after heavy exchange of fire.

Armed men attacked farmers in Luse-Janje bush along the Gombe–Bauchi border, killing two and injuring others.

In a deceptive and brutal operation, a large convoy of Boko Haram insurgents entered Bargari (near Konduga) posing as Islamic preachers. The attackers summoned the villagers to the center of the community under the guise of delivering a religious sermon. Once a significant crowd had gathered, the insurgents opened fire on the unsuspecting residents and utilized IEDs to destroy homes and local shops. This "preacher ruse" was a psychological tactic used to lower the defenses of communities that had become wary of men in military uniforms.
