At around 1:00 am on Sunday, a group of armed Bandits invaded Lema community in the Mando area, directly opposite the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Igabi LGA. The attackers moved from house to house, firing sporadically to create panic and prevent resistance, before abducting eight residents. Among the victims was a pregnant woman who had come to care for her sick mother. A resident, Danladi Musa, recounted: “We were all afraid to step out of our houses because of the gunshots.” The Bandits fled into the night unchallenged.

Unknown gunmen, suspected to be armed bandits, invaded the community in large numbers (reportedly over 100) and abducted His Royal Highness, Alhaji Hassan Shamidozhi, the traditional ruler of Bukpe community in Kwali Area Council, FCT, Abuja. The incident occurred between 9 pm and 10 pm as he was sitting outside his palace to receive fresh air after bathing. The Chief Imam of the Bukpe Community Central Mosque, Malam Jibrin (who is a sibling to the monarch), was also attacked and wounded during the invasion

Suspected Boko Haram insurgents attacked Ndagu village, setting the entire village ablaze. They killed three residents, abducted seven women, and looted vehicles before fleeing. The attackers overwhelmed the community, which lacked adequate security presence. Most villagers fled into the bush, and many remained unaccounted for days after the attack

Heavily armed Bandits blocked the Kaduna–Birnin Gwari highway between Kuriga and Manini, near Udawa in Birnin Gwari LGA. The attackers intercepted a convoy of commercial and private vehicles that was travelling with security escorts, forced the vehicles to halt, and then selected an unspecified number of passengers for abduction—mostly women and children. Before retreating into the forest with their captives, the Bandits set eight vehicles ablaze, including several 18‑seater buses and a truck, leaving them as charred shells on the highway. The chairman of the Birnin Gwari Vanguards for Security and Good Governance, Ibrahim Nagwari, confirmed the attack and advised residents to stop using the road until the security situation improved.
