Forty-nine women were abducted by Boko Haram while working on farms in Shuwaei Kawuri village, located on the outskirts of Maiduguri, Borno State.
About 12 armed men on motorcycles invaded Unguwan Shola community near the former Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Katsina metropolis, Katsina State. The attackers went from house to house, demanding money, phones, food items and other valuables, before abducting eight persons—seven men and one woman (including a married woman and her two-year-old baby).
