Boko Haram insurgents invaded St. Agnes Catholic Church in Gassol LGA, Taraba State, at 9:58 pm. They opened fire inside the church and abducted a catechist.

An elderly Italian construction engineer, Modesto di Girolamo, in his late 70s, was kidnapped in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State. The engineer, who worked for the Italian firm Borini Prono Construction Company, was abducted at approximately 5:30 pm while inspecting a road drainage project along Bishop Smith Street. The assailants whisked him away to an unknown destination in a waiting vehicle. No contact was made by the kidnappers in the three days following the abduction.

Boko Haram militants, reportedly from the Abu Musab al-Barnawi faction, stormed Dapchi town in a convoy of vehicles. They initially abducted local boys to guide them to the school. After a brief exchange of gunfire, the insurgents entered the school premises, rounded up the girls, and loaded them into vehicles . The abduction occurred despite advance warnings from residents who had seen the militants approaching and called security forces hours before the attack—warnings that went unheeded .

At about 11:30 PM, a large gang of heavily armed Bandits breached the perimeter fence of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization in Afaka, Igabi LGA, Kaduna State—directly opposite the Nigerian Defence Academy—using explosives or heavy tools to bypass security, before storming the hostels, abducting students, and marching them toward the nearby forest.
