Boko Haram militants swept through four interconnected villages—Abachari, Kote, Uda Lawanti, and Wokilli. The attackers moved silently between the communities, utilizing cold weapons (knives/machetes) and close-quarters gunfire. In a trademark display of brutality, many victims were pulled from their beds and executed via throat-slitting. 15 people were killed, and two others injured.
