Security personnel were reportedly deployed to search for the missing/abducted person . The Benue State Police Command had not issued an official statement at the time of reporting . A local government source said security personnel had been deployed to search for the missing person. The victim's family accused herdsmen of the attack . Jimin Geoffrey, former aide to ex-Governor Samuel Ortom, condemned the attack and noted that the violence in Guma LGA has continued despite President Tinubu's visit after the Yelewata massacre .
