A communal clash over farmland between Tsobo Waduku and Bachama of Rugange communities in Lamurde LGA, Adamawa State, left two people dead and several huts burnt.

At approximately 4 am on Sunday, armed militias (described as terrorists or armed men, with unconfirmed reports identifying them as Fulani militiamen) attacked Igama community in Edumoga Ehaje district, Okpokwu Local Government Area, Benue State. The attackers besieged the village, opened fire on residents, and set almost all buildings on fire. At least 11 people were killed, mostly youths, while the elderly and women were reportedly allowed to escape. The attack lasted for about two hours, from 4 am to 6 am.

A violent attack by the radical Kalakato (Kala Kato) religious sect in Funtua, Katsina State. The attackers assaulted a local village head (a traditional ruler) and burnt down a police vehicle. The sect members went on a rampage, leading to the deaths of an estimated 50 people and the widespread destruction of properties. This sect has been described as a Quranist movement that rejects the authority of the Hadith and is known for its anti-establishment and militant stance.

An ethnic crisis erupted in Takum following the alleged killing of a Jukun youth by Kuteb youths. The single incident sparked a violent communal clash between the two groups, resulting in significant casualties and mass displacement. Governor Danbaba Suntai publicly reacted to the crisis, expressing pessimism that the killings among the communities would ever end. The state government's reaction was one of being “seemingly overwhelmed” and “clueless.”
