A five-man gang of armed Bandits invaded the Sakpefu community, scaled the fence of Alhaji Muhammad Swasun‘s residence, and abducted his wife, Hajiya Fatima, and daughter, Amina. The assailants fired sporadically into the air to cause panic before forcing their way into the compound and taking the victims at gunpoint. Local vigilantes mobilized immediately but could not locate the victims or the abductors by Monday morning. The APC chairman reportedly saw his wife and daughter being taken away and considered himself “lucky not to be kidnapped”
