Suspected Boko Haram terrorists abducted a man in Mayo community, Madagali LGA, Adamawa State.

Gunmen attacked Butura Kampani community in Bokkos LGA, Plateau State, killing a woman and injuring two others.

Gunmen believed to be Boko Haram attacked the bush meat section of Damboa market, Borno State, opening fire on local hunters who were selling their catch. At least 18 hunters were killed on the spot. Witnesses reported that the attackers stormed the market in the afternoon and shot indiscriminately. Conflicting accounts suggested the motive: some said the Islamists were angered by hunters selling pork (forbidden in Islam), while others believed it was revenge against hunters forming vigilante groups to resist Boko Haram.

A large group of heavily armed Boko Haram gunmen launched a coordinated assault on the divisional police station in Jama’are, Bauchi State, and a nearby commercial bank. The attackers used a combination of high‑caliber small arms, improvised explosive devices, and petrol bombs to breach the station‘s defenses. The assailants set the police station on fire and also set the bank ablaze, looting its vault. The assault, which occurred late on Monday night, was characterized by its speed and brutality, aiming to seize weapons and demoralize the local security apparatus.
