The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Katsina-Ala mobilized patrol and tactical teams to the area . Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have commenced an investigation to track and arrest the suspects . The injured victims were rushed to the General Hospital, Katsina-Ala, where they are receiving treatment .

Four gunmen on two motorcycles opened fire on a group of men playing the board game ludo outside a house in the Zango neighborhood of Bauchi, Bauchi State, around 7:00 pm. The attackers killed six people on the spot and seriously injured nine others, who were taken to a local hospital.
