Response

A combined team of police operatives and members of the National Forest Security Service (NFSS) responded swiftly to the scene . The Kwara State Police Command, in collaboration with the military and NFSS, launched manhunt operations to track down the perpetrators . The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) pounded Bandits' locations across Kakihun, Oke-Ode, Babanla, and surrounding areas in response to the attack . Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq mourned the victims, called for increased security deployments, and the Nigerian Army relocated the GOC 2 Division to Kwara to boost military response .
