Response

The Niger Police Command confirmed the abduction and launched a manhunt. The police spokesperson, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, stated that a combined team of police, other security agencies, and vigilantes were trailing the suspects. The Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN), led by its National President Dr. Musa Dambele, condemned the abduction, describing it as an attack on healthcare professionals and demanding her safe release. The ARN also called on President Bola Tinubu and security agencies to ensure her safe rescue.
