The Plateau State Police Command, through its spokesperson DSP Alabo Alfred, confirmed the incident and stated that security operatives were already mobilised to the area for assessment and response . The Berom Youths Moulders Association President, Solomon Dalyop, confirmed the attack and noted that it followed prior intelligence warning of possible attacks on surrounding communities .
