Gunmen abducted several residents in Agwallan Centre, Kajuru LGA, Kaduna State.

An unspecified number of armed Bandits invaded the Rimi Kamazo community in Chikun Local Government Area, Kaduna State. The attackers fired sporadically, causing panic among residents. Zainab Amos Bagoro, 55, and Aminu Amos Bagoro, 25, were shot and fatally injured; Gayus Amos Bagoro sustained gunshot wounds and was hospitalised. The attackers also abducted Justina Abednego, 25, taking her to an unknown destination. Security operatives received information about the attack at approximately 2:00 am on 29 December and mobilised to the area. The injured victims were rushed to St. Gerald Hospital, Kakuri, Kaduna, where two were confirmed dead. The corpses were deposited at the hospital morgue for autopsy.

Gunmen attacked the palace of the paramount ruler of Gindiri chiefdom in Mangu LGA, Plateau State, and abducted Charles Mato Dakat (the Sum Pyem). The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, between 1:00 am and 2:00 am. The monarch was in the palace alone at the time, as his wife had traveled to Jos and his children were not around. The assailants fired heavy gunshots, causing panic in the community.

A convoy of aid workers from the international humanitarian organization Action Against Hunger (ACF) was ambushed by militants from the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP). The attackers stopped the vehicles, shot dead the driver, and abducted six aid workers. The victims included one ACF staff member, two drivers, and three health workers (the latter employed by the Borno State Ministry of Health)
